So! Today was both simple and complex. We reviewed a ton of information (complex) but didn't accomplish much besides (simple!) Tomorrow should be a little more nuanced, although there will still be a fair amount of review. Make sure you bring back important materials, as well as some sort of an AR book. The year has officially begun!

A good day to you! If you're reading this, it is most likely because you are a new student in my science and social studies classroom. I hope you will check back frequently for information about classroom activities, homework, assessments, and to check for other resources. I am tremendously excited about working with you all for the next nine months!
Let's make this year fantastic! As a post script, I will quote a helpful former student, who has a bit of advice for the incoming class: "Study! Or else his tests will be impossible. Study for at least 30 mins. after school [every day!] for any upcoming tests. They are designed to fail last minute crammers." You are forewarned. |
