In social studies we started going through the material for our final "test." This will be on the amendments, and will include the first ten from the Bill of Rights as well. You'll be responsible for identifying if a statement matches with an amendment, and then identify the number of the amendment. The PowerPoint and handout study guides are already up on this site...and have been for over a month now.
In science, we "Prototyped" a couple of pH kits for practice. Tomorrow, everyone will have access to some basic materials like: beakers, anthocyanin, filter paper, solutions (clear) with known pH values, and mystery solutions. Everyone will be able to hand off their instructions/design document for someone else to use. This is the prototyping stage. Any changes to the directions can only be done in writing...you cannot tell anyone what to do. Then, you can redesign your product, summarize what happened and explain the whole process in your final product which will be done Friday.
It should be interesting!
As a reminder, Wednesday is a half-day for you guys, so any other study hall time will be after school Friday.
