Ahem.
So, in any case, today was twofold in its goals. We read about how to use a weather map and interpret it to see what the current weather conditions are in a given area. We also discussed the role that sailing played in early weather predication, and even tied that into our discussion last week of how day/night temperature changes can affect sea/land breezes. While it is no substitute for the classroom discussions we have had today, the basic info can be found by clicking on this sentence.
In social studies, we reviewed some of the important info from the Adam's presidency, and then started working on the Jeffersonian Paradise text. The associated SARs questions will be due Wednesday, and there will be some time to work in class tomorrow. I'll attach the alternative text that is at a lower reading level at the end of this post.
