I am extremely pleased to report that for my last group, all but two students turned in our first assignment (the CAR) which sets a new record. Even better, across all my classes, only two people have not turned in the signed form reviewing the classroom rules. That means that within a period of less than two days, about 97% of you responded like adults. Actually, in general I'd say even better than most adults.
Another note: I did send home progress reports today, although they did not say much. It is really important that we establish the habit of showing those to your parents/guardians, discussing them, signing them, and returning them. Make sure you bring them to class tomorrow! (Homeroom, make sure you bring the signed handbook forms you received today!)
Finally, in my afternoon class we managed to test about seven of the items people brought in, and established some evidence for what anthocyanin really does, as well as the importance of having a control trial. I'l go into more detail after my other classes catch up.
Pax!
