In all classes, we wrapped up reading through our Social Studies text (Birth of Christianity to the Reformation.) If we have the computers back in the room, we can do a little research tomorrow for any remaining questions, and use the remainder of the time to work on the assignment due on Thursday: you must pick two of the CAR prompts from the text (at the end) and answer them. We will have some time to work in class, but if you come in with one or two finished, I might be able to give feedback before you turn it in Thursday...
In Science, we simply talked about some of your ideas for science fair, mainly to identify solutions and problems, as well as the independent and dependent variables, and how to perhaps measure our results. Remember, a simple 2nd grade level experiment just asks "what happens if..." A good 7th grade science experiment measures "how things will change if..."
For science your parent letters are due back signed tomorrow so we can give out science fair booklets. If you are one of the ones who is planning on an experiment that will take more time, now would be the time to start!
