The only substantial development was that we finally got homeroom 166 caught up in science class. We looked at the overall effect that increasing a heat source (like on a sunny day) has on updrafts and local winds...(hint, the more heat, the larger the updraft, and the windier it gets.) We ended by trying to apply some of these ideas to make predictions about the weather, if we're given enough info. We used one of those questions as an exit pass.
Overall, this got us caught up. We will pick up with weather on Monday.
Don't forget, we have the zoo trip tomorrow, and I will be out of the building. No new homework is assigned for the weekend, so relax and enjoy!
