Today, we took some brief time to go over plate tectonics one last time...You can find a link to the simulation I used here. (You'll want to download it.) We also then took the time to review the best kind of responses for the summative. The main flaw for most people was that their explanations were...sparse? Insufficient? Negligible.
We then detoured to discuss the history of life a little bit, in preparation for tomorrow's dissection. (I imagine we will begin tomorrow, and finish on Thursday.) Don't forget to bring back your signed permission slips for the dissection tomorrow. Another copy of that is below.
In social studies, we watched Crash Course's "The 1860 Election" video and had a brief discussion. We will get into the actual Civil War alter in the week. I also handed out the summative questions for the final Essay Test in Social Studies, which is scheduled for next Tuesday. That is also attached below.
